Interviewing Claude Johnson of BlackFives.com this Sunday at 6pm eastern-courtesy of Afronerd Radio

We are having an early and special broadcast of Afronerd Radio tomorrow (at 6pm eastern) when we interview the CEO of Black Fives Inc., Claude Johnson. For those unfamiliar with the Black Fives, just as there was Negro League baseball-the Fives represented the equivalent in basketball. More specifically, the Black Fives basketball leagues thrived in the U.S. during the period between 1900 and 1940, culminating in community and inner city rivalries in cities such as New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago and Pittsburgh when institutional segregation was the lay of the land. So let's take a walk through history as we welcome Mr. Johnson to our program. Call in with your thoughts and questions as we will be broadcasting "live" at-646-915-9620 or via email/IM at afronerdradio@yahoo. As always be there and be square!

Oh and we also plan to do a special James Brown tribute segment as we are approaching the one year anniversary of his passing. So be there, be square and on the good foot!
